We invite you to downtown Orange City to enjoy our town and all we have to offer every Saturday morning. This year we will have invited food trucks, musicians and other artists in an effort to grow our market and bring something fun & fresh to downtown!

Orange City Farmers Market

The Orange City Farmers Market provides access to fresh produce, homemade food and other locally produced products. We invite you to downtown Orange City to enjoy our town and all we have to offer every Saturday morning. This year we will be inviting musicians and other artists in an effort to grow our market and bring something fun & fresh to downtown!
We are also bringing back the popular Kids Saturday Market that will showcase a Kids Market, inflatables for kids, and a partnership with the Dutch American Heritage Museum on the 2nd Saturday of each Month.
  • According to state law, you may only sell items that you have made/grown (no reselling).
  • Canned goods can only include jams and jellies (sugar-based).
  • Samples need to be able to be covered throughout market when not in use.
  • Baked goods that are not “potentially hazardous” (as deemed by the state of Iowa).
  • Food can only be sold for “later consumption” (as deemed by the state of Iowa).
  • Vendors need to list item names and prices for each item they sell (i.e. Cards – $2.00 each).
  • Vendors need to have their name (or business name), and city/state somewhere on products or table.
  • The Market begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. each Saturday. Vendors must be set-up and ready to vend at that time. No late arrivals.
  • Vendors are responsible for setting up and tearing down their own area (including tables, tents on Saturdays, chairs, etc.).
  • Vendors may drive on Central Ave. on Saturdays to unload, but need to have their vehicle(s) moved by 10am.
  • Vendors should be set up and ready to sell by the scheduled start time for each market day.
  • Vendors should not tear down before 15 minutes before the scheduled end time for each market day, unless otherwise determined/discussed with market leader.
  • Vendors may bring their own tent, table(s), and chairs if desired (in fact, it’s encouraged).
  • City Hall in Orange City will be our planned Rain Location each week.
  • 2024 Season Fee : $30 for whole summer

Price: $30 for the season  (for each 12×12 space….. electricity not available)  Price does not include table, chairs, or tent.
