Event Details for Smokers

Sat. Sep. 9th, 2023

$60 Entry Fee
Smokers only: Wood, Charcoal, Propane or Electric, no gas grills
2 Meat Categories: (Meat will be provided.)
- Ribs (Spare or Baby Back)
- Pork Butt
- Check in times are from 7am to 9am, unless prior arrangements are made if arriving after 9am. COOKS MEETING AT 9 AM.
- Turn in Times: Butt 3pm, Ribs 4pm
- Turn in boxes will be provided; double blind system will be used in all categories.
- Absolutely NO garnish
- All boxes will have 6 individual pieces of meat
- No pooling of sauce; sauces if used must be glazed onto the meat.
- 100% Payouts for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category and Grand and Reserve Grand
AWARDS AT 5PM
NO SELLING OF PRODUCTS – Extra meat will be turned into community feed
Safety and Cleanliness
- Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times
- Cleanliness is required for all cooks, assistants, cook site, and cooking devices
- Prep and cooking areas should be clean and sanitized
- No tobacco use around any prep, cooking and turn in areas
- Meats need to be below 40͒ before cooking and above 140͒ after cooking.

Cornhole Tournament Informaiton

Sign up is from 1-1:30pm tournament starting at 2pm
$30 entry with 100% payout to top three
There will be either a game of knockout or a round of pool play to get seeding of teams and which one we’ll do will be depending on amount of teams!
Winner getting 60%, 2nd 30%, and third 10% it’ll be a double elimination with best out of three games on winners bracket and one game and done in losers bracket.
All games will be a race to 21 so there is no bust.
Sign up day off at 1pm.
Bring your own bags if you want or there will be some available.
